Madison County Schools is fortunate to have been selected to participate in a Non-Traditional Instructional Day waiver.
This means the district is eligible to designate 10 days as NTI Days during the 2017-18 school year. A NTI Day can be used at the superintendent's discretion to accomodate for any unforeseen circumstance, such as inclement weather, excessive illness, or some other emergency that causes a cancellation of a regularly scheduled school day.
Schools across the district will use digital and hard-copy formats to make content and assignments available to students on NTI Days. Each school will determine what platform is best for delivery of NTI content and assignments.
