I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your family from Daniel Boone Elementary School, home of the Pioneers! I am very proud to be the principal of our wonderful school. We are rich in traditions and promote a nurturing environment where we teach our students to be caring and responsible learners.
Daniel Boone Elementary has a skilled and devoted staff who teach a challenging curriculum with proven instructional strategies and engaging programs that meet the individual needs of our students. We have an active PTA, a committed SBDM school council, and we are actively involved with our community stakeholders. Together, we celebrate the interests, talents, and culture of all of our students.
As parents and guardians of our Pioneers, we encourage you to join us in your child’s educational journey. We believe your involvement makes a difference. There are many opportunities waiting for you to connect with us at DBE this year. You can be a volunteer in a classroom (after completion of confidentiality training and a background check), participate in our school events, become a Watch D.O.G., or sign up for our PTA. You have an open invitation to connect with us and are always wanted at Daniel Boone Elementary.
We embark upon the new school year with great enthusiasm and anticipation of new opportunities for our students. You are an essential component of the academic success and the emotional well being of your child. As your principal, I promise we will provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes challenging educational learning and achievement. My door is always open to you and I look forward to meeting you and talking with you in the days to come.
