Description of Our School
Daniel Boone Elementary has changed considerably since its opening in 1963. It's last major renovation ended in the Fall of 2015. Our school actively seeks parental involvement. When educators and parents make the commitment to join together to develop home/school relationships, a new door to success is open for each student in our school.

Mascot and Colors
Daniel Boone Elementary was named after the famous frontiersman that led settlers through the Cumberland Gap. Many of those settlers settled with him at Fort Boonesborough which is only about 12 miles from our school. Thus, Daniel Boone Elementary mascot is a Pioneer. Our school colors are green, gold, and white.
